Extra Mile Challenges Supports Hospices during Pandemic

Unable to arrange our usual cycle challenge in 2020, the Extra Mile Team decided that doing nothing was not an option. Charities desperately need money.
So we arranged a virtual challenge asking our many supporters to raise money for two local hospices – Sue Ryder, St Johns at Moggerhanger, Bedford and Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. Over the last weekend of September, 95 cyclists entered and chose their own route. Mileages ranged up to 200 miles over three days and the locations included the Dordogne in France, the Cotswolds, Winchester, from Bedford to the Wash and other areas.
We collected the grand total of £13,475 which has been extremely gratefully received by the charities. With your help we have now given a total of £1,663,339 to other charities
